Yesterday I cleaned and painted the inside of one of my GMC hood turn signal buckets. I used silver "chrome" rattle can paint. I knew it would not look like chrome, but would be about the best reflective paint that I could use. It will certainly be brighter than it was from the factory.

Just made it back home from a 250mi one way trip to the other side of the state in the 66. I'll post pics and details in my build thread later tonight or tomorrow.

Did the initial test fit of the 454 into the truck. It fit, it fit!

cost me $130 for the first fan shroud, shot out to forum member Trump cuz he gave me daves number and WOW what a lead spend $220 with dave so ima pay my supporting member dues and post my extra parts

various screws and clips for the washer fluid tube,the sending unit wire clip to tank,glovebox grommets,heater box screen, side mirror screws, 66 lap belt only had the driver side the pass. side was 67,bench seat parts

got a 6x15 rim, fiberglass shroud in great unbroken shape the other shroud i got from a forum member the gave me the lead also got the heater ducting i broken the longer one but i will glue it and still use it

got the wiring for the tail lights with backup wire as im making my 65 have backip lights and the best part got the seat covers i great shape with original foam,cotton and burlap will make a great pattern for my truck and i can reuse the foam and cotton

me and dave, im the one with dreads that truck has an original yellow painted 283 anyone every heard of such a paint scheme on a engine? sad to say i forgot my oem washer solvent bottle :-(

I like the 6 ply rated tires. they hold 50 lbs of air pressure. And unlike radials you can run them until the tread is all gone and the cords are showing.
