Re: slammed 57

nice and straight, great work.
when i do bodywork I use wax and grease remover, applied liberally, to check the straightness of the bodywork as i go.
what color do you plan to spray? gloss, semi gloss, flat sheen?

Re: slammed 57

Wow that looks good. Envious of you being done with the bodywork. I’ve been sanding for weeks. Driving by July?

I sure wish by july. but I still have to prep the bed and rear fenders and then buff the entire truck...... by the end of summer I hope is more probably more realistic

Body work is the most time consuming part I think! Looking great by the way.

Re: slammed 57

will you lay down some sealer before paint in case of incompatabilities between manufacturers?

Yes sir.. the base will lay down better and the seal helps for better adhesion with chips from road debris... from what Iam told

Re: slammed 57

Well I sprayed some smaller parts to get my gun adjustments dialed in( I really like this SPI base and clear) I put on 6 coats of clear to give me a little wiggle room for when I cut and buff. Hopefully if all goes well I’ll get the front fenders sprayed this week.

I've always like that style of Intro wheel. It's had to go wrong with a clean 5 spoke wheel.
