Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy
Finished up the brake system. Put new calipers and disc up front. Now it has a complete new brake system from power booster, master cylinder, brake shoes and new calipers.

Thanks Clem. It sounds sweet. We stopped the pipes at the mufflers for now and will run them out the back when I get the bed on.

I hauled it to the muffler shop but I did drive it on and off the trailer. And across the highway in town. I got a few looks. Haha

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy
Almost got the doors ready to paint. I was wet sanding them and found a few small dings that needed some glazing putty. Maybe they will be ready in a few days. I will post some pics when I get them shot.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy
What is the seat from? Looks like a 2000-2006ish Silverado seat, which is what I was considering using. Plenty around, but I wasn't sure it would fit so have been hesitant to both sourcing one just yet.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy
Yes it is a 2000 silverado seat. I bought a wrecked truck and I am using the motor, trans, and the bucket seats. I was going to use a middle jump seat out of another truck but is was a little wider than I liked. The console will fit just fine. The jump seat was about 3 inches wider.
