Re: Shawno72's long overdue 68 daily driver build thread
I agree. But I say if possible, just keep a set of each (all black tire set, and a set with trim rims and whitewalls).
Never get bored that way

No trim ring.
Defeats the Copo/poverty cap look.

Ok here are some pics of the install. Obviously are the parts that have been removed, let me know if anyone needs anything. Also the trans thats in some of the pics is the mock up tranny.

Re: Shawno72's long overdue 68 daily driver build thread
Well I just gave my key to the guys at the tranny shop. Unfortunately I am off work tomorrow so it will be hard for me to take any pictures. I'm thinking maybe I could have Ron snap some pics of the progress for me.

So the truck will be down for a few days huh? Is it that quick that your 700 is so close to ready?

Re: Shawno72's long overdue 68 daily driver build thread
Man I need to have one rebuilt and put in. I know I'll have to shorten my one piece drive shaft and figure out how ill mount my 700. But doing the other stuff to make it function is what boggles me like the linkages and how it affects gear selection at the column
