Not doing anything to Ginger.
Actually moving backwards and changing some stuff. Trying to get everything rolling to build a shop.

Re: Project: Ginger
lolife I was wondering if you've giving it anymore thought about switching out the rear dropmembers to get some room by the bedsides or switching to the bridge with bags mounted on the inside of the frame? I'm wanting to change mine out just not sure if I will.

Re: Project: Ginger
Not switching Dropmembers.
I'll run a 8.5 wheel in the back. The stepsides are so much more different than the fleetsides when it comes to the rear 4-link Dropmember. I'm so deep into this build I'm not changing it now. I moved the notch forward and shortened the 4-link bars just to make the rear wheels look correct in the rear stepside fenders. I should have put this chassis under my red truck like n2billet tried to get me to do. My '86 Dropmember truck is in a million pieces. Ginger is also in a million pieces. I couldnt make myself blow apart the red '69. Trying to regroup. My shop isn't done. The new shop ain't happening. Don't know what is going to happen. Tired of moving backwards with every step I make. So I'm not doing anything. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Project: Ginger
Keith, I cannot believe that you have been feeding me information from the beginning of my obsession with these trucks and I had never seen this truck! I love it! I look forward to a day when Ginger and Esther Mae (and maybe Stella Mae) can sit side by side while we owners bench race and enjoy a cold beverage... representing the stepper crowd proudly. (I'm really a fleetside guy too, ) I understand what you are going through, I was going gangbuster on mine for a while and then it came to a screeching halt. Partly because of a lack of skill (LSx swap). But also because of aftermarket parts that just didn't work for me. I have finally found a combination of parts that I like and hope to have her on the road soon. Anyway, I wanted to say you have a great build going. You are also a very helpful person and I believe the "pay it forward" theory is going to come back around to you soon! I look forward to updates when they come...
