Re: Jim's 1969 Custom/20
This thread should be pinned right up there with Bruce88's "It's Just a Pickup" thread. Seriously.
Great attention to detail in documenting the repair of a good number of issues that ail our 40+ year old trucks. If I ever decide to start driving my truck daily, you can be sure this thread will be referenced heavily. Kudos, Jim, for your work here. And I love your truck.

Re: Jim's 1969 Custom/20
Jim,
Just ran across your thread today. Great to see another Navy man with a C20. I'll be referring to this for years to come as my son and I restore our baby. Did you ever get around to rebuilding your 350? Cheers, Shawn

Re: Jim's 1969 Custom/20
Jim, how is the seat holding up after 6 years of use? Getting ready to redo some of the foam on a pair of bucket seats and I have kept your thread for reference for this very project.
Thanks, Mark

Re: Jim's 1969 Custom/20
Jim-
I just went through your thread, hope all is well. I also own (actually my son's) a 1969 Saddle/White C10, I know yours is a C20, but saw you were collecting pictures of them. My son is in the Air Force, but it works out great, he sends parts and I get to "play" with his truck! Win/Win in my book! The engine in this one has the same casting number yours does, 3932386 with the TH400. I do not have a build thread going yet but i will start on soon. Jason
