Even though Saturday is supposed to be my day to work on my projects, I had Wyatt make patches for the areas we relived in the firewall.

Lots of progress today! Welded up the holes in the cowl
Installed the gas pedal
And painted the cab and boards (minus the roof). Still need to wetsand tomorrow.

Went to the City today and dropped a small fortune on reproduction Parts
The parking lights and glovebox door cost me $195. The parking lights are used, but they are mint.

we got the Front clip wet sanded and started the drivers door.

we got a lot done today. But I think I got ripped off on the Wiring harness. There is a bundle of 8 wires that go to an external connection. I’ve identified 4 of them. The TCC, speedo, tach, and fan. Those are the only 4 that the pinout says there should be! There’s no instructions and the wires aren’t labeled. I bought it through messenger and since my account was hacked, I had to start a new one. So now I can’t contact the seller! If we don’t figure it out soon I’m going to have to buy another harness! We took the front clip apart. Body worked the roof. Welded in the hacked up radio hole

We finished wet sanding the drivers side. Cowl is ready for paint, roof still needs one more fill. Engine turns, but for some reason the fuel pump isn’t getting power. We are diagnosing now. I’ll stick Wyatt on it tomorrow.

did you have the pcm software modified? you probably did, but in case you didnt gotta take out the passlock at the very least, it will keep the fuel pump from running.

I had the PCM cut by LT1swap

We got the bed and rear fenders on and drilled the new gas filter

We started painting the bed, but ran out of color. Will pick some up tonight.
Pulled the column for paint and to paint the interior.

We ran out of color, but picked up 2 more cans tonight and ordered 3 more.

We spent pretty much all day getting the door rubber off, it was like it was petrified! Then we stripped the remaining items out of the cab, in preparation for paint.

I am not satisfied with the patch on the radio hole, so Wyatt will be re-doing it on Wednesday. We started by painting the back wall of the cab, all the areas that are grey primer will be blue like the exterior and blended in with the black.

Today we got the bedsides painted and tailgate primed. We also got the inside of the cab primed.

i'm super interested to see the final product on the paint theme when it all comes together.

Today we created templates for full door panels, tomorrow I’ll run them to my plas cutter and have them cut from 22ga. To include with the Truck
Chloe wet Sanded and painted the inside of the right door
And masked the rockers and jambs

Today we got the drivers door jamb in paint and prepped the passenger side

The radio hole is smoothed and looking good
The inside of the bed is finished
That left bedside to finally shaping up
And the tailgate is coming along nicely
