Re: My 70 2wd Project begins!
New 6.0 is installed and running! It doesn't look any different than the 5.3 but man does it sound different! We installed a mild cam (LPE GT2) and some 853 heads with yellow springs! I took some video but the sound on the camera sucked so I will shoot it again with a better camera next time.
Still needs a little cleaning up but not to bad! |

Re: My 70 2wd Project begins!
Thanks for asking - He is doing some better but still has a hard road ahead. Tomorrow will be his 8th trip to the operating room in less than 5 months. He spent 75 off his first 100 days in the hospital and we have nurses here most of the day to care for him - he's a tough kid! We are grateful for the strength God has granted us to walk through this! It has been a hard journey.

Re: My 70 2wd Project begins!
Looking good. Glad to see this truck coming along and your son getting better. I have been watching this tread for a long time. I can't wait to see some pics or video of it on the road.

Re: My 70 2wd Project begins!
Totaled up the big ticket receipts tonight and total was over $28K - did not include any paint, body, labor and probably another couple grand in random receipts. Guess I will be losing a little on this one - wow that hurt.

Re: My 70 2wd Project begins!
While I had the hood off I cleaned up the hinges a little. Didn't spend alot of time polishing but a definite improvement. You can see the 2 done and the 2 yet to be done in the pics. Also got the front aligned and windshield in with the help of EBFabman. No pics of that - other than the ones he took and I have yet to see Maybe he'll throw one on here for kicks.
Trying to get it ready for the Goodguys show next week - need to get this thing sold! |
