41 Original Hits from the Soundtrack of American Graffiti is the official 1973 soundtrack album of the film American Graffiti.
It has been certified triple platinum in the U.S., where it peaked at #10 on the Billboard 200 album chart.
Included in the film, but not on the soundtrack, are "Gee" by The Crows, "Louie Louie" by Flash Cadillac & the Continental Kids, and Harrison Ford's in-character a cappella rendition of "Some Enchanted Evening".
On the original vinyl release of the soundtrack, Fats Domino's "Ain't That a Shame" is an alternate version including an overdubbed female chorus (created for Domino's 1963 LP Let's Dance with Domino).
The original hit single recording was substituted for the CD reissue.
Also, "Party Doll" by Buddy Knox fades out earlier than the original version during the final chorus.
A second compilation, titled More American Graffiti (MCA 8007) (and not to be confused with the 1979 film sequel of that name) was issued by MCA in early 1975, with George Lucas's approval.
It features more rock and doo-wop hits from the late '50s and early '60s (only one of which, the Crows' "Gee", was featured in the film), along with additional Wolfman Jack dialogue. A third and final oldies compilation, titled American Graffiti Vol. III (MCA 8008) was also issued by MCA in early 1976. All three albums were released as 2-record sets, or as a double-length tape and are now entirely out of print.
With the exception of "Gee", all songs on the soundtrack album are presented in the order they appeared in the film.

More American Graffiti - The film also featured a thirty-three track soundtrack entitled More American Graffiti, featuring music from the movie along with voice-over tracks of Wolfman Jack.
The soundtrack, originally released in 1979 as MCA2-11006, is long out of print, and has never been released on CD.

A fictional band called Electric Haze featuring Doug Sahm appears in the film, most notably performing the Bo Diddley song "I'm A Man".
An earlier album, also entitled More American Graffiti, was an official album sequel to the first soundtrack to the film American Graffiti.
The album (MCA 8007) was released in 1975, four years before the film sequel of the same name was released.
While only one of the songs in this album was actually used in the 1973 motion picture, this collection was compiled and approved by George Lucas for commercial release.
In 1976 MCA Records released a third and final Various Artists double album set entitled: American Graffiti Vol. III (MCA 8008).
Unike the first two albums, American Graffiti Vol. III does not include Wolfman Jack dialogue.

Got the Upper Control Arms on...
Looks like I am going to break down and get a bone creeper.

The cheap creepers we have owned through out the years all have let us down and after today this is the last straw.

Ha ha.. Yea, It's a clip from a 1976 Ford Mustang II.
I have had it on there for years.
Mustang II IFS Suspension (Manual Rack Steering) with 2" Billet Aluminum Wheel Spacers.
The Upper Control Arms are from Jegs. Was wanting chrome... but these were on sale.
And the Coil-Over Shock and Springs are from Heidts.
Heidts MP-042 - Superirde Front Coil-Over Shocks for Mustang II Suspension
Coil-Over Spring Rate (lbs/in) 500 lbs./in.
And 2” drop Spindles
The wheelbase has been extended to 117".

Another sidebar I want to take is the wiring.
With one of my backgrounds in Electrical/Electronics Engineering I am going to do something unique to the truck
and incorporate some electronics to to the wiring while retaining some old school technology.
