Re: The misadventures of Captain Krylon - 68 C-10 barn find
When I installed my Auto Meter tach a while back, I liked how it looked, so....
I ordered four Auto Meter Sport Comp gauges to replace the Sun Pro gauges I had in there before and I think it all looks a little better now... How bout you?

Thanks Low...
It seems like nothing is getting done when I look at the long list of, "Things to do" on the dry erase board...

I thought they were steel... When the white paint was stripped off I realized that they were aluminum... They are a part of the redneck truck plan along with the gun rack... I am planning to have the paint get it's "POP" from old school pinstripes... Strategically placed around the truck on top of the satin Hugger orange... The mirrors will have some on them kinda in this form or fashion... Colors possible in the stripes are, black, red, silver, etc...

Re: The misadventures of Captain Krylon - 68 C-10 barn find
It's been a while since my last update...
I apologize... Rather work on the truck than type... The Face Book group is easier and faster to post updates on... If your not on it, look it up... Very fast, very easy... For those of you on FB, this is all old news for you, sorry... Not much time to type so I'll update you with pictures to get ya'll current... I still have a LOT of plans in the works and my dry eraser board in the garage is constantly being erased and added too at the same time... That means... It's NOT anywhere NEAR being finished in MY books... Here we go, I hope you enjoy the picture book... OK... You are all currently up to date... Still working on the ol' beater... More to come... Eventually...

Damn, that looks killer!
Just realized that I need a gun rack, and to find somewhere on my truck for a bottle opener. You should bring that thing down to Home Depot in Kemah. Every Saturday evening when the weather is good there is a mini car show in the parking lot. |

WOW!! I'm jealous, You,ve done a heck of a job man I am completely impressed. I don't think I will ever get mine stripped and painted. I probably wont ever be able to afford it. Your truck looks phenominal bud, I think I'm going to run up to the car show on louetta Saturday nite, you ought to bring the ole girl up there and look me up. went a couple of weeks ago and there were quite a few 67-72 trucks of all shapes and sizes. suburbans and blazers as well. Its a good family atmosphere for only 10 bucks a truckload!!

Accelerated Paint and Body on I-45 @ FM2920 near Old Town Spring.
The phone # is on the sign that in the background of the U-Haul picture... Had the antennae balls in a box for a while... Color matched up pretty good as well...
