Looking really good John. Like the badge and your paint color looks almost like a burnt med. bronze.

Re: 68' Chevy c10
Thanks Man !
Thanks jl ! I have a small paying paint job to do, then it's back to the truck ! Thanks litew8 ! I always liked the metal, and earthtone colors. I wanted to go a bit darker than the factory copper color. I can remember learning to drive the 65' chevy truck on grandads farm. It was dark metallic brown/white. Ahhhh the memories.

Re: 68' Chevy c10
Oooops ! one small setback. I guess this spot had something on it, because the paint wrinkled up.I noticed it while I was painting the base coat. so I didn't clear this area. Repair underway !
Door panels blasted ! One area of damage on the corner. Got most of it repaired. will need a small amount of filler. This is what's left of the lower steering column bearing. Replacing upper/lower was in the plans anyway. Trying to decide to go with the factory lower or I think I've seen a brass bushing replacement.

Never cared for that color on cars, but man it looks good on your truck without the blue. Great vision!

If your talking about the lower bearing. I think it would be common, because it gets alot of water/road crud in it. If you have the column out. It's the perfect time to put new bearings in. Thanks ! I'd do it again. Thank you Sir ! Lucky for me color choice wasn't too difficult, because I knew from the start I wanted some kind of brown.

Re: 68' Chevy c10
Nothing cool, but it's still truck parts ! Hood hinges powder coated after blasting. Door strikers and lock mech's painted.
Also rigged up an old battery, and power adapter I had to charge the ipod. I'm cheap ! Keep on Rockin'

Super sweet build. I live in STL. Not too far away. I would love to see this truck in person some day. Keep it up. Makes me wish I was farther into my build!
