I also cleaned the rear axles and painted the outside where the studs are black. As you can see I had a very full feeling day. I like day where every thing falls together. Just when you thing that you have all the parts cleaned and painted. Look around and you will find some more.

Re: 1968

I probably wouldnt even bother trying to get those rotors turned unless there is no charge if they dont come out legal, if they still charge you if they dont come out legal after they are turned then dont even bother. just buy new OEM replacement rotors from napa or Oreilys they are inexpensive.
When I bought my disk brake conversion kit from this guy I know, the rotors looked fine but when I had them turned only one of the two came out legal and the one was just barely so its not really worth it to even bother.

The person who had the 72 frame must have just bought these. They look new except for rust. But you might be right . I am going to mike them first and see.

Re: 1968

Today, I sand blasted more parts the other hood hinge and the hood latch and the top piece that holds the door panel.
I went over to my friends and he gave me the hinge and e brake for the front and rally style hubs for the rally style wheels. I will be using them untill I get my new wheels and tires. I am in no hurry about the tire and wheels.
I installed the front e brake cable thru the rail on drivers side. But the cable that connects the rear cable to the front cable came off along wheel base and guess what too long.

I also cleaned up the turn signals for the front and painted the back side black. Monday I will paint the inside of the turn signal silver.
My little helper was watching me work on some parts. He took a picture of me working. He thinks I don't work enough so he took a picture for him to remember.

Lookin good man, all of that little stuff has to be done sooner or later and is the most time consuming and tedious, so good job keeping on it.
