Got the new wheels and tires mounted up today... Pics are washed out a bit, I'll try and get better ones tomorrow. I think the narrowed a-arms are going to do well with these wheels.

I am going to widen the rear wheel tubs a little, doing some research on that now. I like the semi-tucked position of the wheel in the wheel well, just need some more room on the inside.

Using narrowed a-arms up front will align the front and rear track and give the ruck an awesome look.

I love the new wheels buck!! I really want the same wheels on my 99 crew cab but in a 22" wheel. I've been talking to tommy about it!

It has a rough or machined texture to it.

Black wheels are smoother then the gray , less texture.

Ah, I understand the question better now. Yes the part that is powder coated black is smooth. The bare aluminum part has a machined finish to it.

I'm not sure about these years of trucks, but I remember reading years ago that for a V-6 or V-8 Vega conversion, you could swap a resistor on the back of a stock tach to do the 4/6/8 conversion. GM has a lot of standardization, so maybe the same rule applies, but I'm not positive.

It would have been cool if everything work like it was supposed to, but that is more about how the truck was advertised when I bought it. At this point it is a moot point as I will be using a Classic Instruments cluster when I swap in the LS.
