Re: What's your trucks name ?
My buddy had a truck in high school that looked a lot like yours .We called it fruity. Or the fruit truck. He bought it off of a man who used it in an Apple orchard for about 25 years. He put a screaming 350 sbc in it , and no one could touch old fruity in the quarter.

The Needy Beast. It had a 250 with 3OTT when my wife named it that 14 years ago. Now it is a beast with 402/TH400 and 3.73 gears.

Re: What's your trucks name ?
We call the race truck "ole blue", or "hay hauler", my son's truck is "Mad Mable" because she fought us like she was mad at us for the last 6 months of the build.

Re: What's your trucks name ?
Guys on the high school track and cross country teams called my son "White Lightning" because he was the only guy on the team that was white...and he ran like lightning! He could outrun my wife (and ride a bicycle with no training wheels) when he was only three. Survival of the fittest, escaping that predator! lol
Oh, yeah, "Big Orange"

Re: What's your trucks name ?
For the past 7 years I've always just called it "The Brown Truck" and it's kinda just stuck that way.

Re: What's your trucks name ?
My C10 is named "The Grinch" since the original protect-o-plate shows the purchase date as 12-24-1968 so in my mind the original owner was out buying himself/herself a nice new truck instead of presents for the kids! Plus its green...
And the only other vehicle of mine that isn't just called what it is... "The Six-Eight" |
