My son sent me these pictures a few ago. I believe this is the first round of primer on the hood. The glove box door is done and ready for paint, I think.

I really like these too. They're similar to the wheels I ordered for mine. What sizes for wheels and tires are you going for overall?

20x8-ish and 20x10-ish. Tires probably a 255/45 and 285/40 or somewhere in that neighborhood. I think that’s what’s on it now.

I just looked at your wheels and Forgelines I see. Someone isn’t playing around.

Well I HAD to replace my old wheels due to my brake size, so figured why pay twice.

I like your choice. Any desire to go wider than what you have now?

Forgelines are some of my favorite but way out of the budget for this truck. And nah, I’m content with that width. Don’t want to start going down the path where I end up having to modify stuff. It’s just a nice driver for a 16 year old.

Sounds good! I was just surprised at what I could stuff under a lowered truck without modifying, so whenever I see people making wheel and tire choices I ask just in case they had plans to widen it up even more. I do really like that wheel choice btw! That's going to look awesome.

Yeah, I will probably wait a while to change them unless I can sell these. We will see though.

Re: Son's 68 c10 Short Bed

About 3 or so weeks ago, I ordered side trim from Mar-K for the truck. I started getting a little impatient last week, so I called them and was advised it would ship early this week. Yesterday, they called and said it was now pushed back until August 15th. I am super bummed and pretty much over COVID.

They go from "it'll be out in a week or so" to.... "it'll be out in a couple months"!!??? I thought they hand made everything in house? What, did they run out of materials or something? If they are blaming it on covid, I suppose they may have had the employees test positive. Either way, that flat out sucks.

Those wheels are cool. If they had them with black spokes I would be really into them.

Coming right along!

I'm not going to be too critical. No telling what their state mandates and requirements are/were. Gives us something to look forward to.

I am not really into black centered rims, personally. I have a 2 door 2wd 98 Tahoe that has black centered Boss 338's and I hate them.

Productive day today. Passenger side door is done. ‘67 Camaro mirrors installed, one piece glass installed, interior door panel on. Got the tailgate on and adjusted too.
