^^ thats looks sharp. I always liked the red/white combos! I like the SS decal too... it looks like it came there.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
thanks 78! i only wish the guy that had it before took more time with the paint. he had some over spray on the white cause he was going to put the molding back on. i would prefer not to have it but im kinda stuck doing it now with the over spray. oh and the holes

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
Well you could put the stock chrome trim on it or some of the newer black tim with chrome stripe. don't know if you would like that, heres a pic of the newer 88+ trim on my old 87. I liked it on mine.
You would just have to buy a roll of the stuff and cut it to fit yourself, and not get a pre cut kit. Last edited by 78 Chevyrado; 09-23-2010 at 03:30 PM. |

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
I don't know which ones, but check out car trim too. Anything you can buy by the rolls would be a simple install. the precut stuff can work, but it takes a little creativity and may waste some more material than you'd like.

Just spotted this one while I was out and about today. The inside was really clean also.

I don't understand what people see in the real flame paint jobs it seems kinda tacky/to busy for MY tastes.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
i agree to a point... but only in pictures. i've seen the real deal on a flawless black paint job in person and its amazing. pictures never seem to do real flames justice at all. imo of course
