Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
Icredible job on the build SS it looks awesome, as for my seats I'll have to see if I can find the photos ogre brackets but it's pretty basic. Just cut the humps out of the floor and welded in a flat piece of plate. Then where the divets in the floor drop lower than the play I welded in some 1.5 x 3 inch tubing and dropped a bolt through the seat rail mounts throughout the tubing and the floor. I'll try and find some pics . Thanks for the interest.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
I am pretty new here my truck is a 1984 with a 5.9 cummins and 5 speed, 4X4, it also has 05 power seats in it. Here are a couple of pictures taken today of it hauling off the Cummins donor. It really needs washed and cleaned up

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
You should post up some info on your swap in a build thread. Several guys on here looking to do similar swaps so the more experienced info shared, the better/easier the swaps get.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
I have been thinking about doing a build thread on this truck I am no expert on the swap but mine does work great and is a work in progress my biggest problem is I take very few pictures of anything when working on it. I may start a build thread on the truck in a few days

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
I did that to mine as soon as I get time I am going to do a build thread on it with how I did it. It is not terribly hard to do.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
thanks, awesome site for a chev nut, im new here tryin to figure how everything works. The "big dirty" is my 1980 Gmc 35, very original except for all the rust. Original .020 over 400 Block but built for some power/th400/205/d60, just finished the 14 bolt rebuild, the gov lock just grenaded hard even blew parts through the cover and im runnin 37/13.5/20 rubber with almost no lift (first pic was when i got it put on some 285s to drive it home)
