Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
Wow, I just went through this thread and I'm amazed.
I came here to ask what it took to get those nice GM 5 spoke wheels to fit on a 67-72 truck. But I don't have the talent to do what you did. There's a set local for pretty cheap and I want to pick them up to go on my '70 GMC but I don't think they'll fit.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
Frankie just went under water in Mobile! He still seems to be running fune, though.
We also met Bill (Palf70Step) at the Gulfport show today, super nice guy. Tomorrow everyone is hanging a right to Baton Rouge, but we hung a left tonight to go stay with friends in Alys Beach. Tomorrow we head on to Orlando for a volleyball tournament as well as Disney World!!!

Well PM with your schedule, and maybe we can get some people together. If you're staying near Disney maybe we can get together at Old Town for their Cruise in

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
We discovered grease or some gear fluid coming from the right rear wheel. I feared an axle seal, but in fact it was a CV boot that was dry rotted and had cracked. Alan the tech that I got was awesome and suggested he could fill the tiny crack with RVT sealant and call it good for another thousand miles or so until I got home and properly swap out the boot.

Last time we were at The Varsity we had the Bride in tow. I've been popping in to The Varsity since I was 12 years old.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
I saw the truck at your hotel. My group met up with other people there, then took off. Truck looked really cool. I think this would have been the Alabama stop in the morning, on the way to Gulfport, MS.
I doubt you would remember a Mustang... but I was rolling in this, this year. My wife and I did the entire long haul from SC, 3,424 miles.

Surfs up at Blizzard Beach. We closed the place down and then played mini golf.
