Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

Every update with a pic is just amazing.
You really need to put this in the Detroit auto show for the Ridler award.

Thanks unfortunately I would have no chance at the great 8 because I have posted pics all over the internet. Plus the truck has already been to a few shows. Plus I am trying to build some awareness for rectal and colon cancer. Thank you for the complement I would love to compete in the great 8

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

We got the metal finished in the truck now it's completely back apart and and the body work is being done on fire wall. The. It's cab is going to interior. Then we will put glass in and cut and rub firewall, cab, doors and jams then back together and wire then fire

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

You know Eric, that your engine and the rest of the truck are so well done that there's even merit to leaving the sheet metal as it is and it would look great. That engine is just amazing, I'd hate to distract from it - it's that good.

Great shot of the lil guy too, BTW.

Thanks Steve I appreciate that. That's why we are leaving the metal smooth no dimple dies other then what's on the firewall. I want the motor get the attention.

Looks absolutely amazing! I especially like the picture of your kid sitting on the engine That's good stuff.

How did you attach the pieces together? Inner fenders to the outers? Is the radiator cover all one piece? Any connection between the inner fenders and the radiator cover?

Either way, it looks amazing and I'm glad it's coming together for you!
