Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Just installed a new front bumper, I can' believe I waited so long. Trying to figure out how to install new leather seats I just scored. If anyone has installed seats from a Honda Odyssey, please let me know. The have hooks that attach to the floor boards. I think they were the second row seats. (two buckets and a center seat/console). Help.....Thanks

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Added a rear chrome sport bumper. Then added the Chase Chevrolet license frame which is where the truck was originally sold from.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
I agree 100% but I don't think your wife can paint the holes closed....or can she?? The front plate is not to bad but the rear has issues.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Dang that looks great Randy! Man, you are going to town on that truck...you have accomplished more in a week than most "body shops" accomplish on a truck in 6 months.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Thanks Scott. Only 2 doors, 2 fenders, a hood and a tailgate left to sand and paint. I've started on the doors. Oh yeah...and 2 wheel houses.

IDK if this counts, but my truck likes to work. She doesn't care too much about looking pretty either.
And, just making sure the neighbor's house stays standing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkdrL_kskqI

Put my tailgate letters on, along with my new sterring wheel too. I kept it original with the horn button but it was a good day.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
I replaced the mirrors on my 72 K20 today with a pair of these
http://www.brotherstrucks.com/prodin...number=OMA72PR The fit is good,, they look good but I can't get the right side mirror to adjust in enough to be able to look right along the bed side the way I'd like. I guess that would explain why the old right side mirror was broken. Oh well,,, at least I can see better out of the drivers side !!! Were the sport mirrors listed as an option on the spid ? I have looked at the inside of these doors and the only holes are for the sport mirrors. There is no mention of any mirrors on the spid and the mount holes look factory. The truck only shows 64k miles and I believe it to be accurate. The truck sat for quite a few years before I got it. Last edited by 72 K20; 01-29-2012 at 12:39 AM. |

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Mirrors look good but why is the normal and sale price the same? Weird, but the mirrors look good.
