Re: What did you do to your truck today!
i walked through my garage on the way in the house, squeezed in between the hood leaning against the wall and the box sitting on end against another wall and thought " i REALLY need to get back to work on this truck!!!!"

Mud.Man.Rj
I bought these from Brothers because they were the best price at the time. This was my first dealing with Brothers and I don't believe there will be more. I'll stick with Classic. |

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Drove to my parents house and back with no problems. About 100 miles round trip. Went to go play cards and come back to a flat tire. Guess I know what I'm doing next.

Cleaned and remounted tire after cleaning the rim and rubbing a little green slime on the surface.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Picked up a couple tinted side windows at junk yard today, Soft Ray..they were all ready out just sitting there..Score.. Got home and decided to sound proof inside my doors. Used Ice Shield (type stuff) that I got at Home Depot. Tried a small section, well with surface rust, dirt, etc it would not stick. Ok what sticks to just about any thing? "Duct Tape"..so line inside of door with duct tape then went back and put the sound barrier on. Wow what a difference, very nice and solid sound.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Replaced valve covers and air cleaner. Got new spark plug wires and rerouted them to clean things up. Pretty happy with the results.

Painted one of my doors. Got a bit of orange peel in it, I guess that's what 2000 grit sand paper is for.

Did some backyard cleanup, had to take my bed apart. Someone thought that plywood was an acceptable substitute for an oak wood bed.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Nothing that exciting, I took Oddie for a ride and washed the antifreeze from yesterday's blown upper radiator hose off the engine compartment. He got a ride and a pigs ear at the feed store and I got the mess cleaned up in the engine compartment.
