Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks

This is my daily driver work truck, I have only been fixing it up for a couple of months now. I saved it from a crappy life in a field. Not much to look at but it is simple and reliable man. steer, man. disc brakes, 350-4, 3 was on tree now in floor and hangs up like hell. I really like this truck, had the original paint still on it and very minimal rust, mostly surface with a dime size hole in pass. rocker seal area. I killed rust and primed it so it would look better, it also had original motor but it was smooth worn out. I had a mild 350 already so I just swapped it in. New seat, exaust, clutch, tires and some rally wheels.

(The yellow piping sucks but the seat is very nice..so I will live.I have the heat controls out fixing them, I put 'undercoating' on the floorboard)

I will do some pix of my 69 later, I need to take some current ones.
ehuth1 your truck is very nice..could you post some specs? I am guessing BBC 700R4..??

I like a V8 as much as the next guy but the new camaro 6's are pusing more than 300 hp. If you have to do a 6, it's not a bad one to go with. That said, cylinders are like beer...the more the merrier.

Keep it AND get a new Camaro. The "newness" will eventually wear off and then you'll still have the coolness to ride in. I've seen some nice Camaros and even thought how cool it would be to have one but man...I'm seeing so MANY already.
