Funk those wheels look sweet on there. Even though the circumstances weren't good, the result looks good!

that orange truck and the blue 4x4 are sweet! I almost bought a 86 swb on 38inch super swampers but lived my parents and they said no. It had that same look.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

howdy all, chris here from Houston Tx.
Here's my 81 silverado.
- perpetually in primer the last few years!
I shaved all the trim, bed holes, cab trim, drip rails, cab light, front side markers, rear tail lights, bumper and tailgate, side mirrors and door handles.
(after some bad solenoid experiences, I went old school with a key pop this
time!) it has a stylin concept 5/5 static drop. It's dualled and has a edelbrock performer cam/intake/carb, but pretty stock otherwise.
Future plans:
This truck has really been a study for me in how little money I could spend.
(you know... wife, kid, mortgage, etc...)
I was about to buy some 17 " legend 5 spokes (like tt's) but saw Muthstrykers truck with the eagle 225s and may change my mind.
(that said I'll have a set of impalla wheels up for sale soon, I hope)
the truck was originally code 12 white and I jambed it white a couple of years ago, but now I was looking at a nice coppery colored paint. Recently thought that I might just jamb it in gloss black and go semi black on the outside to keep my suede vibe going and frustrate family and friend who keep asking "when you gonnna paint that thing?"
In one year texas will consider it an "antique truck"!
