Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
BTW... Just saw your pics of the hard lines... You did good. Wish I would have thought about the clamps as spacers before I installed them. That was a good idea. Acuair should redesign those valves to be numbered 1-3-2-4 instead of 1-2-3-4. It would make more since because 1-3 are going to be on the sane side. It would make running the lines a lot easier and cleaner.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
Looks good Mike, Does anything have to be done to the Accuair Valve Block to run the Aluminum Line. I really like the way that looks.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
The aluminum lines actually hold into the quick connects really well. I did the same thing on my build and was pretty pleased at how easy it was to bend the lines, mostly by hand, and it looks really good.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
I ordered a few extra quick connect and a double sided quick connect from AVS and they are really nice. The connections are stainless instead of plastic. I got the double sided just in case I need to make a quick fix on the road.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
couldnt you just make an male female adaptercable or resolder the connections on the controllboxside to rewire the valves so the coils are set up the right way ?
the bends on the hardlines look good , its too bad you cant get different radius benders that go up in the same distance as the spacers you used that prolly wouldve made it eazier as the bends then all start at the same point over all the lines (you dont have to measure the stagger or finangle it so the distance after the bend is correct to use the spacers again) , would make it look cleaner too

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
Nope...i am to cheap to spend $300+ on a gas cap, this was pushing it for me $134 from SPEEDWAY ! but it is a very nice piece, they make a large one and they also make a small one i think it is about $90 for the small one, this one is over 5 inches wide, i am impressed with the quality !
