Want an easy way to gauge a good deal? Simple: If the ad is linked to this message board and the truck is still for sale it ISN’T a good deal Good deals don’t last long enough to be posted and debated over.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Unfortunately no,..good deals come to those who search, even wtb ads come with major risk, hey wanna buy my truck?, Uh ok. Any seller who can't provide additional pictures is shady or doesn't want to put in the footwork of selling a truck for thousands of dollars more than it's worth. I sold many trucks and even the most stupid picture requests should be met, ( obviously after you determined if the guy is serious or just chuckle head).
Regardless, stupid buyers not knowing what they are looking at make the truck world turn, they often pay premium and the knowledgeable buyer gets the deal when they give up. These are 50 yr old trucks, and trucks they were and used as such, they all have their issues, and 99% rust free is non existent, by 1975, these things were already rusting badly. Rant over |

I like this one. $7,500. Too bad the tax man shook all the pennies out of my pockets.

Looking at this one hopefully today or tomorrow. I'm more of a 4x4 guy as that is what I grew up with, but this one is growing on me big time. Thinking it looks too good to be true, we'll see. I have a feeling it already sold. |

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
I found this for $80. I went with it for being older with raw aluminum rather than modern black on my era accessorized truck
Just in time for Spring Carlisle. I think I have now surpassed purchase price by buying a set of 50 state travel stickers, tangerine colored window tint spray, foam seal, and will be either buying a frosting spray to go behind the tint or something like smoked to get close to the condition of the bubble windows. Not planning on viewing scenery from inside anyway. Had to clamp beach towels over the windows for Carlisle. The pole lights shine bright all night!

68 C20 CST Custom Camper with VERMILLION paint(!), Big Block, and buddies $7850
I think this is a very nice truck, and I thought long and hard about buying it, but I'm in a K20 mood these days - don't snooze, it's on ebay at the moment also. https://sanantonio.craigslist.org/ct...557611179.html 72 C10 Custom Deluxe EAGLE! If you missed your chance on ebay a few months ago, here's another one for sale - and in white. These are just cool, my 2 cents... $7500 https://bham.craigslist.org/cto/d/19...574647341.html Last edited by jocko; 04-29-2018 at 08:12 PM. |

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
This is in LaGrande Oregon (northeastern). Advertised in Orange County California. My brother went and looked at it for me. Bit more work than I want right now and I would need to drag it home to California. Has rust through rockers, engine needs rebuild, needs wood bed replaced and the usual other issues with these trucks. But for $1500 OBO its still a pretty good deal I think. All original farm truck with 80k miles.
