Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Yesterday the the brake and clutch pedals went in. Clutch is hooked up and adjusted. Windshield washer hoses and sprayers installed. Emergency brake cable attached and conected. Power steering hoses connected. Today the carburetor is going on and start wiring the engine harness. It feels good, my goal is to have truck on the road by April 15th.
I had to turn the dipstick because it was in the way of the clutch linkage. That wasn't fun.

Drove her around and returned some movies then brought her home and cleaned her and threw a coat of wax on her.

Very nice extremely clean truck, kind of nice to see a truck that isn't altered to much, not so common anymore is it, she's a looker.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Installed my 72 throttle cable and pedal adaptor, now I need to find a shorter cable or shorten this one about 1/2"....it works good I just want to take some of the tension off of it.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
A small change from my normal, "Jumped in and drove it to work this morning!". In the process of replacing the old worn out 454, with a newer less worn out 454. Should have been finished Saturday but, being an idiot I lost the bell housing bolts out of the donor truck, and had to wait until today to get more!

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Over several days
Got my carpet put in ready to find my seat bolts holes LOL , and put in a 70s style dash in with tach. Started truck up for first time after I installed a all most new original interior wire harness I came across. Had to replace my headlight switch that I bought at local NAPA store. New cig. lighter but had to cut outer edge ring off for it to fit, then filed. New ignition bezel. New heater control cables, new heater fan motor and heater box gasket kit with resister. New windshield washer tubes. Got a set of over the shoulder seat belts out of mid 80s Blazer, by te way the seat belt bolts on floor are the same that fit upper cab corner access holes. Door panels ash pad and seats are recycled leather. Should have seat by end of week..yea
