Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
[QUOTE=ah_5500;4150383]a few updated pics of mine. just got it back on the road after lowering, motor work, 5 lug/disc conversion, c-notch, and some old wheels i had laying around. 5.5-7 drop, 20's with 255 35 tires, intake, carb, cam and lifters(488 lift), etc... still got some cleaning, painting, and polishing left on motor and what not, but its drivable.pics may be huge, sorry? some before pics also
She's Beautiful but watch the potholes with that size tires. I just bent 2 of mine beyond repair with that exact size tire. They don't make these rims anymore so now I've got the 15's back on it til I can buy a new set. |

I actually like the 15s better on your truck.

^^^ x2. I like the deep dish (pizza??) black rim style, with some rubber showing. I do think the others look good also.

Yeah, I much prefer the 15's on your truck. It looks really sharp.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
Thanks everybody. It sure rides a lot better with the 15s.
Yeah, I have no idea what the name of the rims are but they're made by American Racing. They look like Nascar rims to me. They even have the little red and blue stripes around the lip. |

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
believe me i know. those wheels got a few places on them and i have your 20's except in 24's on my daily with a 275 30, which is around the same tire height. ive got a few years practice on pothole awareness. lol. also....to each is his own buuutttt your truck with the 20's with red lips (black spokes) and a nice flat black paint job would be sick. imo

Nice project! Is the top of the hood and roof the same color as the bottom stripe?
