Re: 72 Suburban Build

I had some power steering hoses made and hooked them up. I didn't like the way the Borgeson ones that i bought thru Porterbuilt went. They had 90s on the rack side and it just didn't fit very well with what I have. I had some made up with straight fittings coming off of the rack and it went much better.

Its dumped just after the trailing arm crossmember for now. I'll probably go a little farther and try to put it in front of the rear tires when i have a little more time. I need to get it driving though so I can work the bugs out of it.

I just uploaded a new video. I realized the microphone was covered on the last one and then had to move farther away so the microphone wouldn't crackle.

I'm going to try to stop by there and check it out Saturday if you are going to be around. Was about to head over there last Saturday, then that big storm hit. Looking good dude. Can't wait to see and hear it.

Its ALIVE!!!!!!!! I took it on its first drive today!! It goes and stops without people pushing it!!! I snapped a quick shot of the dash. I'll try to get one in better light tomorrow and I'll post a video if i get a chance. I'm going to wrap the headers tonight, brake lines are getting too hot.

Re: 72 Suburban Build

Well I drove the beast for its first "longer than around the block" ride today. Everything went really well. I had a plug wire pop off but other than that, it was perfect. I brought to the carwash that our Chief selects were doing as a fundraiser and had them wash it. I put it on the ground and hung out for a little while. I had two seperate professional photographers make quick u-turns when they saw it to take pictures. That was one of the best feelings ever for me. I'll post them when they email them to me.
