Re: Surf Blue
looking forward to seeing what you go with. I went with the GMPP serp setup on the '56 and a '94 serp setup on my son's '67. definiately can have them dressed up nicely (painted, Pc'd) good luck with your decision, the truck is Bad ASS

Re: Surf Blue
I'm going thru the same thought process right now on serpentine setups. I love the Tru Trac, but i hate the idea of polishing all those hard to reach areas. I thought about March's Style Trac.. like it, nice price, but i wish it ran a tensioner. I'm all for their clear powdercoated pulleys and bracketry as i had some that looked great even after 8 years! I'm looking forward to seeing what you'll end up choosing as i cant seem to make up my mind !

Re: Surf Blue
I was going to have the money together to get a serpentine setup , but it looks like now that money is going to have to be used for a down payment on a new vehicle. (maybe) If it doesn't go down that way I'll be getting a belt setup soon. I'll keep you posted. A while back I mentioned that I painted my rear brake drums black so I posted a pic of that ,but it's not a very good one. I've also decided that I'm going to enter a few shows in the near future so I'm looking forward to meeting some fellow board members and truck enthusiast's.
I mentioned that I was working on an 83 SWB Chevy for my dad so I enclosed a pic of it. This truck will probably end up being mine one day so we're starting with a new engine and trans, from there I'm not really sure which direction I'm going to head with it. I might start a build thread in the 73-87 section for it, so keep an eye out. My Riviera is still around as well, I've done several things to it and am planning on bagging it this winter. I've got too many things going on!

Re: Surf Blue
Like that 83!
You can always use a serp setup from a 92-98 GM Truck. You can normally get them pretty reasonable at a yard, clean them up and paint them. Unless you hooked on billet or chrome.

Re: Surf Blue
Did you get my PM about the serpentine setup? Also, I know it's off topic here but what have you done to the Rivi?

Re: Surf Blue
I finally ,and I stress finally ordered up some new wheels today. Went with Billet Specialties "DYNO" SL , 20"x12" out back and 20"x8.5" up front. They should be here in 3-4 weeks so I'll post up pics as soon as I get'em on the truck.
Incase you're wondering where my Coys are going, they already found a new home on my Riviera, I'll post pics of that later as well.

Re: Surf Blue
The Riviera does look good with them on there. I've had several people tell me that my Coys look better on the Riv than they did when they were on my truck.

Re: Surf Blue
You currently can't upload 'unhosted' pics directly from your computer. They need to be saved (hosted) somewhere & then you can copy the link. I beleive you can host them in the 'gallery' & then copy them to the post. Give me a shout if needed.

I'll try that and see if it works, I'm pretty dumb when it comes to computers.
