And, she came with her high heels on. Those bad boys are 16" rims and I measured the tire to be ~30". She is now 3" lower both front and rear. :-)

Re: Irish's 1966 LWB Fleetside

A bit of background on this one....

My good friend Tommy, has been an integral part of getting and keeping our fleet going. He can build a carb blindfolded. He is old school NHRA and one of the coolest guys I've met. Anyways, he has the golden touch when it comes to carbs and motors and me and old skool decided it was time to build him a truck with a personal touch.

It's peel'n'seal from home depot. Actually, that may not be the name on it, but you will find it in the roofing section in a black and yellow packaged roll. I'll post a pic of the roll in the morning. It works good. Just make sure its warm when u roll it on. I use a heat gun on it before sticking it in place. It makes a big difference.

Dave, the dash looks awesome! You might have to give me some pointers on mine. I want to come out and take a look. I looked at Home Depot in Beaverton and didn't find any peel and seal. I need to do my interior now.

<edit> Found it. Damn, the people in the store looked at me crazy when I asked 'em for it, but I found it onine.

That's the one. It works pretty good. When are you planning on doin it? I recommend using a heat gun, unless you are doing it in a heated garage. It will stick far better if you run a heat gun over it before you stick it down. if you need a hand, gimme a shout.
