Re: Donz '65 SWB Stepper Budget Build...
Cool idea on the knob! Hope the brown truck shows up with you Eastwood order soon.
I have gone the route of resizing pictures. I do have a Flickr account but preferred to just upload to this site instead. Of course, that was when you could upload full pics and more than one at a time. Looking forward to seeing some black on the back of the frame!

Re: Donz '65 SWB Stepper Budget Build...
Frame Paint showed up Wednesday, and this New-To-Me Hood ornament made it today via Fleabay and the USPS...
It's going to get cleaned up and painted flat white... Hoping to have some freshly painted frame pics to post following the weekend!

No frame painting this weekend...
The weather and Life sure gets crazy when I want and need some truck time... Here's an update on some Door Art I was commissioned to design... and another shot... Cool front dropping into the state later this week, Praying for some truck time since the high temp is supposed to be in the low 80's... that's right boyz and gurlz, August in Arkansaw and the highs in the low 80s...

Great door art!
I know what you mean about life, have had my nephew with us for 10 days and have not worked on the truck once. He is heading home today so looking to get back on the horse!

Re: Donz '65 SWB Stepper Budget Build...
Saturday morning during my Bank run, for the Tattoo Studio, I ran across this Beauty of a '64...
Used the flap of bank envelope to drop a note for the owner... Turns out he just bought the truck out of Missouri and is the manager at the Grocery Store where it was parked, we talked for a few minutes and I pointed him to this Awesome board. That kicked me brain into gear and I came up with these handy-dandy cards to carry around... Next time, no flap left flappin' under a wiper blade... I'll place one of these there and Ride On!!! Now if I could convince life to take a vacation, maybe I could get some truck time in... I guess one of me moustache hairs decided to hijack me pic of da card!!!

Re: Donz '65 SWB Stepper Budget Build...
That's really cool! Gotta be worth some Bomp points. You should move the "nice truck - check out this forum" part to the top of the card tho. My first read made me think you were talking about your nice truck. It is a nice truck however and I would want to go check it out! You are a genuine artist Don. So many wish they had half that kind of talent.

Surfing these builds is where I found motivation to take my build to where I have, my original plan was to replace that fender, then put a motor in and drive... didn't quite work out like that, kinda just snowballed! Your build is one I will follow Posted via Mobile Device
