Re: How about some pics of High Performance haulers.
A few more pics.
I really had not done a lot to remove weight. The only fiberglass is the hood. Everything else is steel. It does have a chromoly FAB9 rearend housing, and wilwood brakes on the rear. Still had factory disc brakes on the front the last time it was at the track. The new front suspension is almost done in these photos. The bottom of the front bumper is 8 inches above the floor! |

Re: How about some pics of High Performance haulers.
Thanks everyone for the kind words. I think we all understand the countless hours and $$$'s that goes into a project like this, and to hear your peers compliments is cool. I am very impressed with the quality of trucks on this site. Until Kevin told me about the site, I thought I was one of the only people crazy enough to race our trucks. LOL At least that is what the car guys say........Thanks again, Paul Baxter

Re: How about some pics of High Performance haulers.
Bellflower-What are the spec's on the rear suspension and wheels/tires? As well as what headers are you using? I have a 91 rcsb that has a 496 going in and I was just going to get headers for the 90-93 454 ss but wondering if there are other options. More pictures would be great too!
Thanks! |

Re: How about some pics of High Performance haulers.
Here's a couple pics. of mine as it sits during mock up of rear suspension...note high tech cardboard box, throw rug and tape to hold rear sheet metal in place so I can see approx. ride height.
