Re: Lets see the survivor trucks! original paint only!

It's tore back apart at the moment. Welded in a step notch and installed the new airlift 3p air management system. Have a porterbuilt dropmember waiting to be installed also. Lost some parts to it, so waiting for Nate to send them out.

Re: Lets see the survivor trucks! original paint only!

Here's ol goldilocks. All documented original survivor 1968 stepper with original paint. Original 23,750 mile 250 L6 engine. 3OTT tranny, original 2 option truck (spare tires and oil bath air cleaner). I purchased from the original owner, who owned it for 45 years. He had the original bill of sale, all maintenance receipts, manuals, etc.

Great thread. I love the diversity of color.

Also, can't beat the PO1 trucks on white walls!!! My favorite!

Re: Lets see the survivor trucks! original paint only!

Might as well keep the thread going. Here's my 69 GMC in Dark Green/White. Pretty well all original paint, but there are a couple of places where the original owner touched it up trying to preserve it. No rust, nor any rust repair, ever. The wheels have had the silver paint redone, again by the original owner, and he used a brush!

Twins!! Well, almost. Driver fender and door have been repainted. At least 100 hours in labor removing all the chrome, bumpers grill etc, wet sanding and buffing.

Re: Lets see the survivor trucks! original paint only!

Here is my C20 all original except for tires and rims. Still have the split rims that were removed by P.O. , there is a protecto plate , purchase contract and the original radio, chrome Edmark Chevrolet emblem on cowl, seat etc still in the truck. This truck has been a daily driver for the last three years, never let me down.
