Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds

Not really a find since it resides in my backyard (sits behind a barn...does that qualify as a barn find?)

Anyway, noticed these things skyrocketed in value last couple of years...

What # would you you put on this truck? Wondering if should sell 'er...perhaps make an offer?

That thread is from a few years ago...long bed by the way. Couldnt upload recent photos from the phone.

If you'll wait just a little longer you won't need to bother.

That is a cool wrecker. I wonder if it was a k20 that they put a dually rear axle on, or if it’s a c30 that was converted to 4wd

Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds

That is a Holmes 480 twin line wrecker body. The booms separate and can do side pulls. That is what the legs are for. They keep the truck from being rolled over while doing side pulls. It also has an add on wheel lift...something that was not available back in the 60's. It would be a cool truck to restore if it was in better shape.
I started out with a 74 C30 and Holmes 440.

On another note I saw this cluster for sale on e-bay https://www.ebay.com/itm/263750303660?ul_noapp=true . I had one like this restored for my 63 c-10.

Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds

I found a truck at an upcoming auction. You never know what Kind of price you can get at an auction. It appears to be a 4wd, mid 60s.
