Re: 60-66 Chevy Truck spotters thread.
On her way to the pet store, my wife called advising a yellow and white Chevy truck was parked at the high school. Being only 94 degrees out, it seemed like a great opportunity to get some exercise so I hopped on my bicycle and pedaled myself over there. Near the end was all uphill, and I must admit my rubber legs didn’t make for the most graceful dismount, but I didn’t fall over and need attention either! I’m still not very good with this cell phone camera. I can’t see what I’m taking pictures of the glare on the faceplate is so harsh, so I’m constantly getting my finger in the picture.
Ironically my wife and daughter forgot something and had to turn back, and arrived at the truck the same time I did! Here’ the truck. It’s for sale as indicated. It says factory air, but I don’t know if the evaporator hung under the dash in 64. It was reasonably decent with a quicky cover up paint job. This black one was spotted on the way back, and also looked decent but wasn’t for sale:

Rare rust belt survivor, c60 at a local car show, they had to make extra room for this one.

Re: 60-66 Chevy Truck spotters thread.
There was quite a bit that was obvious, so I assume it had a lot more hiding. The lower front door corners, and the lower front fenders were no longer attached. The grille was pushed in and there was hardly a straight panel anywhere. It appeared to have lived a hard and rough life.

Re: 60-66 Chevy Truck spotters thread.
Nice, big window too! Was it bagged or static drop? My guess static since it's not laid out and it's only $1500

Re: 60-66 Chevy Truck spotters thread.
I assume static as well. The owner never showed up to speak with.

Re: 60-66 Chevy Truck spotters thread.
Not today, last month actually. Spotted this dude when heading back to work after lunch! We stopped and had a good chat.
Johnny boy, we still need to hook up for an Ale and talk trucks. You should start a thread even if you don't know what you plan to do yet, start by telling the epic journey home.

Re: 60-66 Chevy Truck spotters thread.
That's it. I'm guessing that's at Home Depot in Brentwood. Very cool.

Here's a camper I spotted up in a yard in Willits, Ca. Might be for sale if anybody's interested.

Re: 60-66 Chevy Truck spotters thread.
That's a very cool looking truck. I especially like the hood scoop! Really brings home the aviation theme.

Re: 60-66 Chevy Truck spotters thread.
I saw a nice looking orange truck yesterday or maybe the day before. It was lowered with a rake, and I believe was a short wide bed. I think it had steel wheels. Trying to take in all the details and grab my cell phone can be a bit disappointing. He rounded a corner and got a green light before I even got my phone out of my shirt pocket!

Spotted this one yesterday, new to the neighborhood:
And although this isn't one of ours, it was immaculate:
