Becareful of hiding your cage. If the techs want to check to see how thick the tubing is or if they want to inspect the welds. I hade to rework a bunch of tubes once because they could not see the welds or check the tubing. Just FYI
Hate to see you reworking your awesome ride. |

Your seats sound awesome! I like the idea of a hidden cage, but you might try to have it certified before you cover it with sheet metal.

the bondo will crack over time. and the paint will wear through. it showed up the other day, if i get a minute later i will put some good pics of it up.

Re: 68 pro touring, auto cross c10 (mid life crisis)
Oh ok. I was sure there had to be a reason, but I just wasn't sure which. So your gonna leave your wheel black and not paint it then. That makes sense. I would love to see some pics. Also did you ever re-screen your gauges to get rid of the 5s on the tach. Would love to see pics of that too. AWESOME ride so far btw!

Re: 68 pro touring, auto cross c10 (mid life crisis)
been slacking!! fuel cell showed up from harmon fuel cells. thing is perfect. rubber bladder, sx pump/filter inside, and a gm sending unit. hooks up to a blazer filler neck. also a better shot of the one off 68 wheel with a cst button. i may sell the frame in the build, pm me if any interest.

that's how GM should have made the steering wheel back in the day, well, if you opted for power steering. gorgeous!
