Re: 72 Not sure what to call it yet resto!
I was about to put the door panels on and with all the new rubber the window glass pulled from the channel! I sprayed the rubbers and felts with silicone but the damage is done. When I had the glass out I buffed it but never pulled the glass from the channel it seemed fine. Question: What should I use to set the window back in the channel? I have urethane like you use on windshield installs??? That stuff is super hard though and I wasn't sure if that was a good idea or not.
Man I hate to pull the glass back out of it for this crap. Anyone got a suggestion or two? |

Hey Mike! I just got it out of storage and yes it's been a while to say the least.
Hope to get back on it this winter and finish up a few things. Been doing the daddy thing and fooling with the boats. |

Re: 72 Not sure what to call it yet resto!
After not messing with the truck really for the last few years I got the itch again. Had to pull the tank and decided to go with all new lines, tank and sender. What a mess the tank was in after sitting with junk 93 in it for 3 years.
While I'm waiting on the tank I got more insulation and started going over the cab again. First off I did the area behind the tank and got that all in place. Might work on the firewall and under the dash some this weekend. |
