Re: 1959 Fleetside REBORN
Now that I can keep the neighbors out of my business. I can start again. I ordered the ac unit so I can work on the firewall nexted. Here is the Gate...I'M surprised how well it came out, the top is level while the bottom is not. My honey do's are done for awhile....I think?

Re: 1959 Fleetside REBORN
Did some plumbing work, need to cut down and retap thru frame fittings to get tighter to frame.

Re: 1959 Fleetside REBORN
Well this mourning started well. I seized a tap in my thru-frame brake fitting. I wanted to tap it deeper, didn't like the 5 turns in and more threads showing then turned in.
So new mato When dealing with stainless is "be as slow as a turtle". Lots of lube, I heared that somewhere before.

Re: 1959 Fleetside REBORN
use anti seize when tapping stainless
that looks a little deep for a npt tap (National Pipe Thread)

Re: 1959 Fleetside REBORN
Did some brake stuff. Got the Harley Davidson banjo fittings on to the master cylinder And tighten up the lines to the frame around the shockwaves.

Re: 1959 Fleetside REBORN
This MC is in alot of models corvette included from @ 2002 to now. That is one of the reasons I went for it, plus it was 120.00 with the hydro boost.

That's lots of plumbing. It takes a while but looks good when it's done.
