Nice work I am kind of wishing I had a short bed but I will take the long bed over dealing with rust. I am thinking about running my exhaust through the cross member too, did you have to reinforce it after you cut the holes? I am thinking about 5” holes and using 2.5” exhaust out the back.

Yeah I wish i didn't have to deal with rust. My truck would have been done 2 years ago if it wasn't for all the rust repair. I reinforced the trailing arm crossmember with 3.5" pipe after the holes were cut out. You definetly want to put some strength back into crossmember after you do it.

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB

Got my Slosh Tubz in the other day. Really nice quality, thanks Mike. It's funny when I brought the giant box in the house my Fiance was like "Did you buy a Human" I was like no they are just my Slosh Tubz. She asked me what they were, I told her my new inner fenders. She was like what is that, I told her nevermind its parts for my truck Some Pics.

Thanks, I'm excited about all the new parts I'm getting for the truck. The vision I had for this build when I first purchased the truck but thought I could never do is finally taking shape.

Yeah they are made for bagged trucks to lay out on up to a 28" tall tire. Check out 67cheby SloshTubz thread in his signature for more info.

Thanks Al, I'm hoping to have it finished by next spring. As long as I don't change anything else I should be able to get it done lol

Thankyou, believe me when I started this build two years ago, I couldn't afford these parts either. Things have gotten better which is now allowing me to do some of the things I wanted to do from the start.

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB

Lol yeah I'm still building have been working on the ever exhausting bodywork on the doors. Haven't really been taking any pictures kind of boring lol. I do have some bad news, had to cancel my order for the mild rear dropmember with Porterbuilt, Nate is awesome and very understanding. Sometimes life just reaches up and grabs you. Oh well got to do what you got to do. I will just mildly bag the rear for now with my current c-notch. Will try to get a few pics of the doors loaded up tomorrow

Thanks Raull, my plans now are to finish this build then worry about getting it down lower in the rear if I don't like the stance. They are never really done so I can always change things down the road
