Does paypal accept pocket lint as tender? That's about all my project has for funding lately.

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
Picked up the chassis and control arms today. Also got new Moog upper and lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rod ends and both side adjuster sleeves so I can hopefully get it all painted and assembled this weekend!

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
Looks nice Josh. What sandblaster did you use? I'm thinking of getting mine done. I talked to a company that does on-site soda blasting for the body but I would think the frame needs something more abrasive.

Looking good Josh! I with everyone else, I would have been hard pressed to take that truck apart. But she will look great. Keep it up.

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
I had one more question about the frame paint. Do I need to prime the sand blasted frame before painting it with the stuff you recommended or do I just paint it on the bare metal. Sorry to bug you but I only want to have to do this once.LOL

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
They say it will adhere great to bare metal. We'll find out soon enough I guess. Here are some pics for the picture police. New steering and suspension pieces, blasted and painted spindles, sway bar, etc.... Also got all new ball joints, sway bar bushings, etc that arent pictured. Hope to have it painted, engine and trans installed, fuel tanks installed (although I've been debating just using one tank for simplicity reasons, what do you guys think?)rolling again this weekend. Then during the week I'll try to reinstall the cab, bed and front clip and she'll be all in one piece again, I hope.

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
Probably not that quick but if I let it sit too long I'll get bored and start thinking about other things. Hows your cab coming buddy? Cant wait to see it with all that nice shiney paint on it.

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
Well, it's black again. Hoping to reassemble the rolling chassis after my little one goes to bed tonight or maybe tomorrow at the latest. Then put the drivetrain and tanks in, etc, etc...

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
Sorry I missed your comment earlier, I took it to a place called Top-Coat. They're off Glenwood Ave. $200 to blast everything.
