I dont know to much about engine spec's but when you say 600 is that valve,lobe,duration,etc...?

Will the 600 give you more cam?

Re: The Project Havoc....

First things first, i am not a genius on cams so bear with me, what the 600 lift is is the height of the lobe, so it opens up the valves even more, allowing more air to be crammed into the cylinder, thus creating more power at the top end, bigger the lift the more high end horse power. This is what i believe.

Correct.... But you left out the harder it is on the rest of the valve train . . .... & remainder of the drivetrain .

Re: The Project Havoc....

Scoti, you are right, but the rest of the valvetrain was built to go bigger in this truck, however, the bigger it is, the more likely you are to have problems and idle issues.... so yes you are right, we will see, I just WANT MORE! LOL. maybe i should get her done first.

I don't know if it's already been asked but do you have any numbers on the engine HP/TQ wise? That thing scoots around really nice!

Re: The Project Havoc....

Dylan, the guys that built the engine, build drag engines for a living, they assembled this one and figured it to be roughly 480hp, and closely 450tq, wihtout a dyno it is unsure, but if that is what they do for a living i believe them. it will go on a chassis dyno next year and get properly tuned and tweaked then we will know for sure. and thanks, she sure does move, i will tell you that!

Re: The Project Havoc....

Well, the wife, Harleigh and me went to a friends the other day in the truck, we were leaving and i got in the passeger seat and mel looks at me like, what are you doing, i told Mel to get in and drive, you should have seen her face it was priceless, she was so nervous and excited. She loved it, I have been waiting for that day, it was just awesome. letting her drive my truck. She gave her a little fuel once and the grin on her face was priceless, worth everything. anyways a couple pics. Oh i also needed some tunes so i threw in some stuff i had laying around for now, no point in putting in my good stere yet, just something to play a little AC/DC and such. Also added a little home security protection to her, since Havoc has to sit outside for now. Later guys.

Hey sorry about that, what is gonna happen is once the bumper is on, the inne structure behind the bumper in front of the rad will be cut out and air diverted onto the cooler, however this cooler is suppose to run cooler than most as it is designed to be run underneath a hot rod with limited space.
