Re: Project: Turbo 250
Thanks! It can be done, I am still on track to be done in 9 months start to finish, and I have taken a total of 3 months off so far in the build due to my clinical rotations.

Re: Project: Turbo 250
Nice progress Adam !! I use the Evercoat slick sand too. It fills good and sands easy. also doesn't load up the sandpaper.

Re: Project: Turbo 250
Yeah I used 3/4 of a gallon on the cab alone. I wet sanded for about 9 hours today with 220 grit, I did find the slick sand to be harder than some of the other primers I have used, but your right it doesnt load the paper nearly as bad! I am going to hit it up tomorrow with 400 and 600 and start shooting BC/CC.

Re: Project: Turbo 250
Well finished wet sanding this morning and shot the BC/CC this afternoon. Went with the OEM Fawn Metallic and Midnight Fawn Metallic (top of dash to prevent reflection on windshield). Turned out really nice, two small runs in the flat clear but those will buff out fine.

Re: Project: Turbo 250
Don't say that! You'll be working on this thing for the better part of another decade.
Sorry Mike. Couldn't resist. Congrats on getting some color on it.
