Re: How about some pics of 2wd Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?
I can assure you with great excitement that he is truly saving chevy's
I get sad when I go to the local junk yard and see trucks with great parts getting ready to be crushed. I've never seen anyone be so meticulous when it comes to building multiple projects at one time. He documents and takes millions of pictures of everything. for example he had so many extra Trucks he built the red/blue bed shortbed out of all the extra parts. But its not just thrown together, he completely sandblasted everything and repainted everything but not before replacing all the rockers, and even installed the shoulder belt bolt brack in the upper back pillar to insure his kids safety since 85 crew cabs didn't come with the should strap seat belts. He has 7 suburban, 1 reg cab dually, 1 reg longbed 3/4t, 1 reg longbed 1/2T, and all stock 91 crewcab with a 454tbi, and is in the process of building the crew cab shortbed with a cummins. He uses and or sells every valuable part to other chevy guys which is how I ended up spending most of my day at his place lol. I got a new rear big side glass, rear carpet, spare tire carpet cover and a exhaust manifold for my burb. There are also varies disassembled chassis out there in the weeds that can't see in the pictures. Also in the back of the shop I think I counted 3 front from every year make of chevy and gmc ever made. Plus about 7 sets of extra complete suburban doors. Its was awesome to see so much good old iron being saved Posted via Mobile Device Posted via Mobile Device |
