One piece is the plan since it will have to be custom glass anyways.

Thanx!! It better be nice considering the time and money that is being thrown in it THe biggest project right now is fitting all the gaps, I see folks on here all the time that don't take the time to make all their gaps consistant and that makes a huge difference in the end result in my opinion.

I was checking out your thread and your blazer is coming along nicely That is going to be sweet when you get done

That is so sweeet. Can you or your Dad give a few specs on the rear set up. C5 style but what is the diff from, C4 or? Also are the spindles C5? Then are the half shafts stock pieces or were they made by?

How's the little one doing, Taylor goes in Friday for his 1 yr and a half check up. It goes by fast.

It pulls air through the cowl and how many ls motors have you seen with the intake backwards, that is the only advantage. I guess our family just likes to be different, and I guess that is why we do crazy things like him molesting a factory air car that was #'s matching minus the water pump and me taking a factory 2wd blazer and making a truck out of it

The rear set up is from a cobra with custom shafts, homemade arms, cradle, etc. I can't remember how narrow it is now, he made some brackets to run the C5 front caliper on the rear. The front are mustang II spindles with a homemade bracket to run the C5 calipers. He is running 13.25" cobra rotors on all 4 corners. I will have to ask him who made the shafts or he will probably chime in.

Carter is doing great. He is up to 16lbs and 27" long so he is growing like a weed. Yes the time does fly, he is already over 4 months old.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

It is a runner too and he shows it no mercy I don't know how many times I have heard the rev limiter kick in with the back tires blowing smoke as he leaves his house

Re: 72 2wd Blazer: Project "Break Me"

Thanks for the comments on the Vette!!!!!!!!!,, The custom half shafts were made by the Driveshaft Shop,, Salisbury ,NC.,, They are made from 300 moly, if I spelled it right ??The rear is narrowed to 52",,They also built the drive shaft,, The front end is a Morrison 54" cross member kit, with power rack, aluminum hubs ,etc,,,You can see more pictures on Lateral-g... Thanks for generous comments!!!

Let me know what you need to know. I used a fbody harness and pcm in my 67 truck I sold. I used the pinouts off ls1tech.com and made it a standalone myself which saved as much as I had in the motor and trans. Pm me with any questions and I will give you my #.

It's not what you are thinking I bought a m1009 from the military and I am making a trail rig out of it. Put a 14 bolt full floater and a dana 60 with 4:56 gears, 5 in lift, 38" swampers on h1 beadlocks, winch, etc. I will post some pics of it the next time I have the camera out.

Re: 72 2wd Blazer: Project "Break Me"

Not much progress and no pics to show. I got the inner bedsides cut out for the new tubs now I have to go pick up some sheet metal to make my tubs, notch cover and we are going to cut the firewall out and weld in a new piece instead of patching all the holes.

Here is a pic of my rear tires. They are 335/30/20's which are nearly 14" wide
