Re: SPID Picture thread?
Wow, wealth of information here. I am a little bit confused though. The mirrors I have are not stock and I get that. They are very nice however and I would never remove them because they work and do their job. The truck shown with these same type of mirrors is not a square body. It appears to be a 67-72. So if my truck is a custom camper what type of options would it have had? I would like to add the badge but where does it go? Here is my truck anyways....

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php?p=6244380 The Z81 option required specific equipment and below is the data book clip showing the requirements for a 72 K20. Being as your truck has the Z81 option it should have the emblems and as a 72 they would be on the doors. Fremont ("Z") built trucks used the standard location at the aft edge of the door. In addition your truck would also have had the "Custom/20" and the forward "8-350"(under the marker) fender emblems. This link will have more information than you probably ever wanted to know about them. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=579296 Finally since you might ask, the B85 belt molding set was also present on your truck. If you want to see some specifics on that look here. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=572206

Re: SPID Picture thread?
Here's a forest service truck I recently encountered. What's the "perm anti-freeze" RPO?

No kidding. I just assumed they'd be outfitted with ethylene glycol.

Re: SPID Picture thread?
My 71 GMC. IT is a Longhorn, one of the only GMC ones I saw on here. Has the Sierra Grande package, and is a Custom Camper all in one! lol I have been told there are nice options on here? What are some of the more desirable ones? After seeing 14 pages of them it is hard to tell. Also, can anyone tell why my glove box door is brown? Almost all of the other ones it matches the truck color. I want it to be Ochre as well! Must be a GMC thing.

Re: SPID Picture thread?
Gotta love the Highlanders. That is about the only special option I don't have.
Wonder if I can smash it in there somewhere?

In generating the decoders we tried very hard to find any documentation calling a GMC CX26034 or CX36034 a Longhorn and there isn't, it seems. Your truck, a CE26034, is not too often seen, but as must be often repeated, rare does not always mean valuable. However your truck does have a very nice selection of options. Certainly more could have been added but this represents a very nice truck as it sits. The glove box doors on GMC trucks are color matched to the interior trim color. In your case, being parchment (white) vinyl, a tan color (Light Sandalwood) is used.
