Rob truck looks great. Too me, nothing sets our trucks off like a set of ralleys.

Re: 68 S/C update.....

Actually, I should have heard from the powdercoater this week so I'll have to give them a ring on Monday. Only problem, the front tires I want (215/70 radial T/A's) are on backorder so it may take a while for them to be available.

Can't wait to see the wheels. I just put 225/70s (Firestone) on the front of this truck and really like the way the look.

Yeah, the stance looks great. 15x8" fronts? What size rim/tire on the rear? What brand of tires you running.

The front and rears are 8's. I've got a 315 60 15 Mickey Thompson drag radial on the rear.......

Wow nice! Is that about as wide as you can get on a 8" wheel? That's a fat tire!

I found these 12" fat boys in the back of my truck when I got home. I knew the guy had some rims in the back but they were turned upside down and I did not find out they were rallyes till I cleaned out the truck.

Come to think about it, it is even stranger to have 5 lug 15x12 rallyes in the back of a 6 lug truck.

Sorry for the hijack

. I'm trying to finish up a few last details prior to hitting the Power Tour in Birmingham. I'm redoing my fuel system (Aeromotive components), replacing the rubber floormat and I picked these radiator covers up from Northwest Autofab. They look cool and I'm pretty sure they will help keep the engine cooler while moving by forcing more air through the radiator.

I've noticed those covers on their site but was curious of how well they actually fit on the support. They look fairly decent (hard to tell sometimes from internet pics....).

They fit real well and they match the roll of the hood latch exactly . You have to make a small modification to the core support to use them as is (requires removal about 1 1/2" of the vertical rib on each side). I don't want to cut my core support so I've asked him to make me a set out of steel instead of aluminum and to weld a notch in to take in a account the vertical rib. I know it won't be quite as smooth, but I think it will look cool anyway. He also has the capability of punching the holes in it like my radiator cover, but I want to see how much cooling advantage will be gained with no holes. Clear as mud?

Real good man. Still trying to get settled in and unpacked! Haha. I never realized how much stuff I had until I had to move it all.

What's the price difference to have those made in steel? And to add the holes? I was thinking the same thing when I saw them.

I haven't posted much BUT I have been making some progress on the fuel system. First I pulled all of the old stuff off (tank, pump, filter and regulator). Then I mounted the new Aeromotive 100 fuel pump and filters, wired the pump using a 40 amp relay and 10 gauge wire, re-routed the fuel supply line to the passenger side while updating it to a 10 AN line, added an 8 AN return line and installed a boost referenced fuel pressure regulator. This setup is supposed to be good up to a 1000 HP....... I am also having a new fuel tank built that will be better able to support the demands of a Supercharger. Anyone interested in a "lightly" used FuelCell guy tank? . I'm waiting on some lines and fittings, but should be able to finish it up by the end of the week.
