Re: Pops 72 cheyenne dropmember build
New to the Site and have looked at your builds over the past couple days, VERY impressive what you can do with these amazing trucks. I am currently in the process of shaving the firewall on my 68 and like what you have done with yours. Hope to see that thing finished soon and roaming the SAC streets

what all was done to the inside of that motor other than the parts you listed. I like the AFR heads so you run the full rollers and keep the short original valve covers on it still.. When they did the dyno was it 550 at the crank or did they have the tranny hooked up too so 550 at the wheels?...The very near future is a Dart SHP400 which makes 550 at the wheels on pump gas so Id love to know if they port matched the heads to the intake to make a lill more. either way we both have kick a** motors!!!!!! and the truck as turned out beautiful. |

Re: Pops 72 cheyenne dropmember build
I am not sure of all the specifics on the motor because I did not build it, but it is a full roller with a big cam I believe the heads are 198. It does have forged pistons and rods. I am not sure on the crank. It was on an engine dyno. I will try to get the dyno sheets from motor machine so I can post them. Hope this helps

Re: Pops 72 cheyenne dropmember build
Glad you guys like it. Mario shot the motor last night. I put the rear bumper on and finished installing the air ride. Works great. I got the hood latch on and all bracing mounted. I am planning on trying to mount the motor this weekend. I will get some up dated pics asap. Thanks Eric

Re: Pops 72 cheyenne dropmember build
Do you think the 4 link dropmember would work with your rims? What is the length of your rear from flange to flange? I have the 4 link dm coming but I LOVE the way your rims look. I wish my project was going as quick as yours is. Are you sure your talents arent being wasted on teeth?

You would have to ask nate but I am sure 4 link would work. I have 2.75 inches between the bag mount back of the wheel. As far as teeth think the trucks look nice you should see my pts teeth. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Pops 72 cheyenne dropmember build
The motor is a small block 400 cubic inch. Forged pistons and rods. Afr 198 heads. Full roller rocker. Big ass cam. 3000 stall. Should burn the rubber off those 22
