Re: Wild C10 project

I'm doing a 2" chop. I think it looks the best on these cabs. It will use all the stock glass also. We figure we might as well do it all! Lol maybe a 2" body section?

Re: Wild C10 project

If I can say something... I think if you could make the wheel well opening bigger or taller on those front fenders it might look more proportioned, but maybe it's just the pictures that make it look that way, either way the amount of fabrication and this is such a cool idea! I'm in for this one

I will say that I want to open up the wheel Wells a couple inches. There was a goodguys give away c10 that they did that to. I thought it looked perfect when it was done

Re: Wild C10 project

I just thought of something else that might be kind of neat. That's to take an old gas neck and weld it to the door post where the 67-72's had them and put the rubber on just for the old school look.

Re: Wild C10 project

So what u guys think about ditching the original dash and customizing a 67 to fit with a 67 column? Lol it would just be a little metal work! Maybe a Dakota digital dash? The non digital kind

Re: Wild C10 project

I agree with the 67 dash. I'm not so sure about the fuel filler neck. I think the filler neck would raise a few eyebrows for sure, but it would also look like you missed something. With all the care in shaving the door handles and the chop top, a filler neck would look out of place. IMHO!
