Re: Our new 69C10 project

Ya, it loaded onto a truck bound for Denver on Monday. Sold sight-unseen, so hopefully the new owner is happy with it! I'm already looking at prospects down in Kentucky. Probably just look for a clean 2wd long box for right now and focus on the house repairs first.

Re: Our new 69C10 project

Well, after many hours of detailing and more Billet (Fuel pump,Lokar dip sticks and the visor clips, parking handle and chrome visor arms) we took her to the Portland Roadster show this past weekend in the modified truck class and won "Best of Class" the best part was we drove there and home, no trailer queen here.

Most of the credit for the detail work goes to my boys!

We decided to lookfor another project so look for this finished one to be here in the "Trucks for sale" section soon. Its the journey for us

Talking Re: Our new 69C10 project

Great Job! awesome details!!!
I didn't see this until now, but if you look at your engine (the front of the heads anyway's) there is a "Sawtooth" casting pattern on the passenger side head, and the driver's side is different......the sawtooth pattern is a late model "Vortec" head casting, and should be the same for both heads, perhaps it's just the pictures, but I wanted to make sure you knew this, as you might have two different heads and that would mean different combustion chamber volumes on opposite sides = imbalance, as I said, I might be wrong, but wanted to make you aware of this. otherwise, awesome job on your truck!

Re: Our new 69C10 project

Teaser shot The rear wheels had to be sent back to HRBB to have the centers re-milled because they where to small and would not fit correctly on the rear axel. Should be here by Tuesday!!
