Re: 66 c10 first timer build
The threads look a little damaged at the beginning I think I'm going to cut the one nut off so I will have both tie rods off the truck and try rethreading them.

Re: 66 c10 first timer build
I need to get some different plug wires though. In some spots the wires are right up against the headers. Next I'm getting the electric cutouts. Should be Awesome. It will be nice to just flip a switch and go to the gnarly roar of open headers.

Re: 66 c10 first timer build
Looks great, do you know if the wires are long enough to go down the back of the engine and under the headers?

Re: 66 c10 first timer build
Well I tried the plug wires under headers but there touching in a lot of areas. I was going to get diff wires anyways maybe with the straight connection instead of the 90's.

Hoses look good to me!
I have been messing with the same thing lately. It is pretty amazing how one NAPA employee will look at you like you are speaking a different language when you are trying to describe what you need, and another will take it on as a challenge to help you...and those are few & far between, at least in my neck of the woods!

Re: 66 c10 first timer build
Wires look better. There is a company selling a cap that forces the left bank of wires to the left side aNd thr right bank to the right side. I think its called Correct Cap...lemme google a bit and ill let you know. Its a cool set up

Re: 66 c10 first timer build
Well one of those will be for the filler hose and some are for breathers so you tank doesn't collapse or expand to much from pressure...not sure how you cap the breathers though...

Re: 66 c10 first timer build
Yea so if there are 5 holes, 1 goes to the pump, 1 is the filler, so that leaves 3 holes. Any thoughts out there?
